Your face-to-face place is Google Meet.
Open up a Meeting in your RVSchools Google Account to connect with your students or colleagues in a group video session. This is a great format for face-to-face and inter-personal sessions like a Q&A that also includes a chat screen. You can also deliver a lesson or presentation by sharing your screen. Sessions may also be recorded and archived into your Google Drive, but please be aware that recording other people requires permission!
Record your lessons with QuickTime. On your RVS Laptop, you can use QuickTime to record audio, video & your computer screen. QuickTime is great for capturing personal messages with Movie and Audio Recording. You can also record a lesson or instructions with a Screen Recording that captures your computer screen and your presentation slides as you narrate through them! When you're done recording, you can trim the end bits and share your finished video with your audience. Link to your community privately via your RVSchools Google Drive or share publicly on your Youtube Channel.
Create your learning stories in iMovie. The classic video creation tool is available on your RVS Laptop to create beautiful videos for and with your students. It's more sophisticated than QuickTime and allows you easily to arrange and edit still images, video clips, narration, music and titles. It's a great tool for making visual essays and documentaries as well as short films and PSAs. Your finished videos can be shared with your audience privately via your RVSchools Google Drive or publicly via your Youtube Channel.
Share videos globally on YouTube.RVSchools Google Drive teacher accounts include a YouTube Channel for uploading & exhibiting videos publicly. It is super easy to upload and organize videos into playlists that can be linked or embedded anywhere, including a Google Site or on social media like Twitter. You can also exhibit videos created by your students (if their release forms are completed). Click the image to visit the RVS YouTube Channel for inspiration!
